All deadlines have been reached for the technical programming of this conference.  The presentation portal for authors is now closed and no changes have been accepted after June 1.

PowerPoint Guidelines for Virtual Conference

  • Refer to your MultiLearning invitation for your PowerPoint slides due date
  • Accepted file formats include PDF or Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx only)
  • The slide deck should be in landscape 16:9 (widescreen format)
  • All slides will be converted into still images so animations need to be removed.
  • Embedded videos within the presentation will not play. If you have a video, please provide us with the file separately 3 days prior to your booking. A maximum of 4 videos per presentation is allowed
  • Rename the presentation file and any videos with your first and last name.
  • Use the link provided by MultiLearning to submit your slides


The Proceedings will be published in electronic format available only online.

Publication Copyright of Conference papers will be held by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum as you agreed to when you submitted your abstract. Authors will be free to submit their work after the conference to a publication of their choice. If the authors resubmit their paper to another publication, they must indicate that the paper was first published by CIM.

The author assumes full responsibility for obtaining permission to publish any copyrighted or otherwise protected data and images. NOTE: The Conference Proceedings will not be indexed (e.g., Web of Science, Scopus).
