COVID-19 and COM 2022

The Metallurgy and Materials Society of CIM is planning for a full in-person conference in Montreal, Quebec August 2022.

Currently, all participants and speakers are expected to attend in person at the event.  We may stream virtually some on-demand (pre-recorded) presentations during or after the conference for a registration fee.  Should local health restrictions dictate our need to convert the conference to be 100% virtual, similar to COM 2020-2021, then these laws will be applied at that time.

To participate at COM 2022, currently as of November 2021, all participants are required to have proof of full vaccinations and they must wear their masks at all times when circulating in public space (can be removed during meals).
