We are pleased to offer CIM National member registration discount rates for the 63rd Annual Conference of Metallurgists (COM 2024). You are not required to be a CIM National member to register.

NOTE: Authors/presenters may only register as a CIM Student Member if the abstract, paper and presentation were originally submitted as a student entry. Changes to the author’s status may affect conference management decisions regarding your presentation.
PAYMENT: Only credit cards are accepted for payment. Prices are in Canadian funds, and applicable taxes will be added. All prices are in Canadian dollars and subject to applicable taxes.

A guest is an individual that has no technical interest in the conference. The person cannot participate in lunches or daytime activities other than the Network Lounge.

Health Regulations
By registering, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other illnesses that exist in any public place where people are present. By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold MetSoc, CIM, or any of their directors, officers, employees, or volunteers liable for any illness.
Cancellation Policy
Accepted Oral Authors and Presenters do not receive a refund after May 15 on their registration as per obligations agreed to by the author during the submission process.
For other attendees, all cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to vwoo@cim.org. Cancellations received on or before July 15, will receive a full refund, less a 10% processing fee. There are no refunds for no-shows, visa refusals, and cancellations sent as of July 16. Send your request by email before July 15 to vwoo@cim.org.
